Daniel Southren, MD/MBA

Director of Admissions Consulting

Dr. Daniel Southren’s unique approach to admissions is built on a foundation of deep experience in multiple disciplines. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, he was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society in his junior year while he pursued his majors in Biology, Anthropology, and Art History. Daniel continued to pursue his passions for jazz piano and creative non-fiction writing through courses on campus. He then moved to his home state of NY to pursue his MD and MBA at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons/Columbia Business School. Clients consistently attribute Daniel's success as a consultant to his ability to curate a storyline that highlights unique features of the application, a skill which he conceptualizes as the marriage of marketing, educational experiences, and professional goals.

Hillary Drexler, M.D.

Dr. Hillary Drexler has a longstanding history of mentorship in both undergraduate admissions and graduate health sciences. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University and was inducted to the Golden Key International Honour Society during her time as an undergraduate. She went on to pursue her medical education at Vanderbilt University as a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship recipient. Hillary’s clients have consistently been impressed by her boundless energy and ability to find the perfect fit for students through deep understanding of their background and motivations.

Kathleen Kelly, MD

Co-Director of Residency and Fellowship Admissions

Kathleen is well acquainted with helping applicants throughout their admissions process. She graduated from Harvard University in 2008. Following her undergraduate training, she worked as a Management Consultant in Healthcare for McKinsey and Company. Shortly after, she decided to continue her stay in NYC to pursue a her medical degree at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, during which she took a year to continue her research. She is now a senior resident in Otolaryngology at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas Texas. Kathleen has helped countless students with MD and Residency Admissions, and seamlessly melds her experience in corporate consulting with deep experience in healthcare.
